CERAMICS

Ceramics found me later than the rest, but it has earned its place fast. There is an indescribable flow state that is reached when I am at the wheel that no other medium touches. Hands fully in the material, fully present, no distractions. From wedging, to shaping to glazing it allows me to connect with the material in its most physical form. It's less about control and more about connection. Late to the game or not, this might be my favorite conversation with material yet.
