Hi, I’m Lu. 

 

It's not my actual name, somewhere along the way, all my favorite people started calling me that, so it stuck. But what is real is the legal name in between my first and last… Fabulous. Yes, really, my middle name is Fabulous. My parents were geniuses. So it's basically been my life's mission statement since day one. 

 

I am a multimedia artist working primarily in digital illustration, but I didn't start there. I started with a paint brush and acrylics, then got my hands dirty in some clay. Painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking, whatever medium that allowed me to make a mess and a work of art at the same time, is where my foundation formed. 

 

I studied Art at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I built my life at the base of the mountains. It was the kind of life that taught me to chase big things, be bold, and where I learned bad ideas sometimes turn out to be masterpieces. I may have come out of college a little bit hippy, a lot bit inspired, and completely obsessed with the idea of making Fabulous sh*t for the rest of my life.
